Mendelem Hill Pemalang
Mount Jimat or also called Mendelem Hill is a mountain located in Mendelem Village, Belik District, Pemalang Regency, Central Java. The height of the land surface on Mount Jimat is an average of 1,450 meters above sea level. It is located in the southeastern part of Pemalang City with a distance of 42 kilometers.
The foot of Mount Jimat also has a cave which is used by newcomers or local residents for retreat or meditation. Tourism management on Mount Jimat is carried out by the Pemalang Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. Apart from that, the ridge of the mountain is also covered with rocks scattered throughout. This condition is used as a tourist activity across mountain rocks.
The area is very large, which is around 3.5 hectares, and the natural scenery on Mount Jimat is very beautiful, so it is not surprising that this area is used as a natural tourist attraction by local residents. Some forms of tourism being developed on Mount Jimat are as follows:

Rock Climbing
The condition of the slopes of Mount Jimat on the northwest side is relatively steep. This location is very suitable for rock climbing, here we can find several rock climbing accessories that are neatly installed, but look poorly maintained.
Camping
The top of Mount Jimat is usually used to set up tents. This location was chosen by climbers because of its flat surface. While camping, from the top of Mount Jimat we can see a very interesting panorama of the surrounding area, such as densely populated settlements which are located very far from our current position. Even at night, we can see the twinkling lights in the coastal area of Pantura, which is about 40km away.
Children's Play Area
At the bottom, close to the main road, there are several children's playgrounds such as swings, seesaws, wooden floor mats, and so on. However, its condition is very worrying because it has not been maintained, some parts are even damaged.
